CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
The Library initiated a monumental Campaign for Middletown Free Library in the summer of 2019 with the objective of raising $1,000,000 over a three-year pledge period from philanthropic sources to fund the equipping of a new library at the Roosevelt Community Center (RCC) and
three years of annual operating support.
In partnership with Middletown Township and other community organizations, MFL will help build the 6.2 acre site into a community focal point to extend its mission to help the people of our community achieve their full potential through the transformative power of information, imagination and ideas.

ROOSEVELT PROJECT
$700,000 to cover the cost of furnishing and outfitting the new library. The new facility will be fully ADA compliant, have state-of-art utilities and increase space over three times. Our program space will be significantly larger and more flexible!

TIME FRAME
The Campaign began with pledges from the Library Board and Friends of the Library in June 2019. Leadership pledges from top donors developed through the fall and the Campaign public kick-off took place on February 23, 2020. Active solicitation will continue through 2021.
