Yoga Nidra for Sleep![]() What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is "yogic sleep", a form of meditation and a deep relaxation technique. In Yoga Nidra the mind, body and spirit come to the border between waking and deep sleeping states of mind. How will this class be practiced? This class will be by conference call. You will be at home. The class will be led by Yoga Instructor, Lisa Dombroski. After a short period of stretching, you will lie in savasana, the relaxation pose at the end of yoga class, on your couch or yoga mat. Lisa’s voice will guide you through this peaceful, renewing relaxation technique. What are the benefits of Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra’s deep relaxation may reduce blood pressure and stress, and improve sleep, which boosts the immune system. So important, especially now!
