You can upload your 3D files to Mr. Jason and the MFL staff. We will attempt to print them on one of our new MakerBot Sketch 3D printers (thanks to the Wawa Foundation and Rotary Club of Media), then contact you to pick up your printed object and pay for it.
Mr. Jason predominately uses the MakerBot Sketch printers for submitted print jobs. We also have & use a Sculpto Pro 2 printer (as it seems to clog the least out of all our older 3D printers), a Makerbot Replicator 2 and a Monoprice Maker Ultimate. Specs for buildplate area/volume can be found in the links for the 3D printers mentioned.

Looking to design a 3D object?
The library has a collection of books that can help you get started with learning how to design for 3D printing! Browse our catalog!
We recommend you create a free account with Tinkercad and complete the Lessons.
You can also download an .STL file of an object already created on Thingiverse or other similar websites.
Looking to get an estimate on print time and weight/cost for your print?
We recommend you download MakerBot Print and run a Print Preview to get a rough estimate of how long your print job will take, and how much it’ll weigh. Again, we charge $0.20/gram + tax and ask print jobs have minimum supports.
If you do not want to download MakerBot Print to get an estimate yourself, MFL staff can email you with an estimate & quote before we print your object(s).

Guidelines:
- We charge $0.20/gram of what is printed (including rafts, supports, etc.) + tax
- Objects must not require a lot of supports or have a lot of overhang--the flatter and more surface area on the printbed, the better the results
- Only 1 object at a time can be submitted & printed
- Only 2 objects a week can be submitted for printing per household
- Please allow Mr. Jason & MFL staff 7 days to attempt to print your submitted designs
- Designs must be uploaded as .STL files
